“I’ve seen it all,” said Johnny Steele. “Too warm or cold, too wet or dry. The one thing is, each year, regardless of the weather, the Azalea Trail goes on. And it gets better.” 

For this 1.5 acre site situated directly across from the museum, Noguchi worked with Houston landscape architect Johnny Steele. 

“Each garden I do, I hope, is a reflection of the person who lives there, and one of the exciting things about this year is that Meredith knows more about plants than I do,” Steele said.
